Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium children eligible for funding, through the Pupil Premium Grant, will be allocated following a needs analysis which will identify priority classes, groups or individuals.
The range of provision the school may include:
-
small group work to focus on overcoming gaps in learning
-
1:1 support
-
opportunities through trained TAs or external agencies to promote emotional wellbeing and resilience which in turn impacts on learning
-
acquiring effective materials and methods aimed at raising standards, particularly in reading and mathematics.
All our work through the Pupil Premium Grant is directed towards ensuring children meet at least age related expectations and to supporting their emotional wellbeing. The impact of the use of the Pupil Premium Grant is reported at governing body meetings and the governors monitor its use closely to ensure it is being used effectively to raise standards for disadvantaged children.
We publish information on how we have used our Pupil Premium Grant to address the issue of ‘narrowing the gap’. Please see our most up to date information below.
